Doyin is the MD/CEO of IBILE Oil and Gas Corporation (IOGC), a Lagos State-owned company. Before IOGC, Doyin worked at Schlumberger for 18 ½ years. 14 of these years were spent on international assignments across multiple countries in Europe, North America, Latin America, and Africa, assuming senior leadership roles with increasing complexity and responsibilities. She spent over 2 years with GE Oil & Gas, now Baker Hughes. She assumed several regional leadership roles in Sub-Saharan Africa, including the Chief Strategic Officer for the sub-Saharan region, CEO of GE Oil & Gas West and Central Africa and Director of West Africa Baker Hughes. Doyin was appointed to represent Nigeria on the Board of Bonny Gas Transport Limited (BGT), a subsidiary of Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG). She has 16 years of NED experience and currently serves on three Boards and 2 not-for-profit organisations. Doyin is a life member of the Institute of Directors Nigeria.
She graduated with honours in Chemistry from the University of Lagos in Nigeria in 1990 and obtained an MBA in 1994 from the University of Wales College Of Cardiff (Business School). In the same year, she qualified for the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) exams and, in 2011, completed the Executive Finance training at IMD in Switzerland. In July 2020.
