Halima Mamman-Daura is a pharmacist with over 18 years of clinical experience. She is currently the MD/CEO of Numak and April Pharma Limited. Prior to Numak and April, Halima worked as a clinical pharmacist at Walsgrave Hospital Coventry, UK, and West Suffolk Hospital, Bury St Edmunds, UK. She also served as a senior pharmacist at Barau Dikko Specialist Hospital, Kaduna, Nigeria, and as Country Representative for Kidsfest Foundation.
Halima set up the Pharmacy at FOMWAN Hospital, Kaduna and Gwarinpa General Hospital, Abuja, where she worked as the Pharmacists in Charge and Principal Pharmacists between 2007 to 2014, In addition, Halima held various positions in Abuja Central Medical Stores, from 2014 -2019, a drug distribution centre for all FCTA (federal capital territory administration) owned hospitals and facilities within the FCT, providing affordable and quality-controlled drugs, consumables, laboratory reagents and medical equipment to the facilities. She is currently setting up an online pharmaceutical wholesale/distributorship premises in Abuja.
Halima obtained a BSc (pharm) from Liverpool John Moore’s University and a Master’s degree in public health from the University of Sheffield, UK. She is a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, and the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists.
